Sweetly fragrant rich orange flowers on dwarf sturdy plants. Just right for beds where space is limited, containers etc.
Sow in late spring/early summer outdoors in a well prepared seed bed. Sow the seeds very thinly 1.5mm (1/16 inch) deep in drills 30cm (12 inches) apart. Keep the soil damp until germination takes place.
Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle 15-23cm (6-9 inches) apart. Then transplant 30-38cm (12-15 inches) into the flowering site in the autumn for flowering the following year.
They will grow in most soils in sun or part shade.
