Description

Delightful sweet scented 8cm (3in) flowers of mauve/pink and white. Free flowering from June to September and can be treated as a hardy, herbaceous plant in sheltered gardens.

Sowing Instructions

Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 70-40-70F (20-5-20C). Sowing Depth: ¼in (6mm). Sow immediately. Germination is slow, seal the seed container after sowing in a polythene bag and place in a temperature of 21C (70F) for 3 months. Keep compost moist but not over wet. If germination does not occur by the end of this time transfer to a fridge (Not freezer) for 3-5 months. At the end of this period return to 21C (70F) when germination should occur in around 3 months.

Growing Instructions

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Pot on as required finally into 25-30cm (10-12in) pots.

Aftercare

Can also be planted direct into greenhouse border. Provide a temperature of 13-18C (55-65F) through the winter.
