Presenting the first burgundy flowered ivy geranium, true from seed! Grown in containers, baskets or bedding even in hot weather - the strong, well branched, non interlocking plants hold six to eight large florets.
Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 70-75F (20-25C). Sowing Depth: 1/16in (1.5mm). Sow Mid January to Mid March. Germination can take from 3-21 days. Provide a steady soil temperature both day and night for best results.
Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant out when all risk of frost has passed 30cm (12in) apart in full sun.
Prefers a rich, light, well drained soil. Ideal for hanging baskets.
