A very easy to grow annual, known as the Kingfisher Daisy because of its daisy like flowers. Plants form a mat of bright green foliage and from the beginning of summer to first frosts, they will continually be covered in flowers of electric blue with a typical yellow daisy-like centre. Good value for money, use to edge borders and beds, or simply in containers and window boxes. Flowers summer to autumn. Height 15cm (6in).
Sow 1.5mm (1/16in) deep in good seed sowing compost from late winter to late spring. Germination takes 7-14 days at 18-20C (65-70F).
After flowering if the plant is cut back it will produce a second flush of flowers. It can also be grown as a flowering pot plant in the cold greenhouse.
