Agastache aurantiaca Fragrant Mixed

A truly amazing display of tall, brightly coloured spikes of tasselled florets appear to burst out like flames from the lanced and highly perfumed foliage. Bean : Broad Bean : Violetta

The normal green pods of Broad Bean Violetta contain succulent green beans when picked young, beans change to a violet-purple colour if left to mature and harvested as a dried bean.

British breeding from the same stable as the ever popular Red Rum. Runner Bean Aintree has red flowers that produce excellent quality, slim, straight smooth pods up to 28cm (11in) long of very good flavour and which are stringless when young. Has a good tolerance of high temperatures for flower setting.

Beetroot : Alto F1 Hybrid

The first F1 hybrid cylindrical 'Housewives' Choice Beetroot with the sweetest of flavours. Beetroot Alto F1 has uniform, straight roots which have a smooth rich red skin and flesh colour, free from rings making them easy to prepare.

Roots stand proud above the soil, but can be earthed up, and remain in good condition for long periods.

This is a hardy winter cabbage, not even severe frost seems to bother it. The heads of Savoy Cabbage January King are crisp and crunchy with good flavour and the leaf is a conifer-blue colour.

It has one very big advantage over most other cabbages suitable for autumn sowing. Cabbage April can withstand the bolting tendency (running to seed with resulting complete loss of crop) which often plagues autumn sown cabbage and it can also be sown very close together 38cm (15in) apart 25cm (10in) between rows. Ideal where space is at a premium.

Calendula nana Candyman Yellow

The longest-flowering and best double-flowered Calendula we have ever seen in T&M's trials. Strong, sturdy, multi-branching dwarf plants produce large, fully-double, yellow blooms.

Carrot : Adelaide F1 Hybrid

Carrot : Autumn King 2

Root length: 25-30cms (10-12 inches).

Carrot Autumn King 2 produces long, large roots with a deep rich red internal colour. Ideal grown for the heavyweight class at local shows. Can be left in the ground all winter without splitting.

Carrot : Early Nantes 2

Approximate root length: 13-15cms (5½-6 inches).

Carrot Early Nantes 2 is a fast maturing selection of this superb carrot with medium length roots of good internal colour. Excellent also for a January/February sowing under glass.

Carrot : Mignon

Carrot Mignon's smooth, tender and juicy, rich-orange roots were specially selected for growing as 'baby roots' or 'little-finger carrots' as they quickly mature (approximately 12 weeks from sowing). Cucumber : Boothby's Blonde

An American heirloom originating from the Boothby family in Maine. Cucumber Boothby's Blonde is a prolific cropper outdoors, best eaten small, 10cm (4in) when crisp and sweet with no need to peel. Cucumber Boothby's Blonde are dimpled, slightly spined cucumbers with creamy-yellow skin. Fruits will grow up to 20cm (8in) when they are best used for pickling or cooking.
