For greenhouse cultivation: sow from February to March.

For outdoor cultivation: sow from March to April.

Sow seeds on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp, seed sowing mix and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place seed trays in a propagator at a constant temperature of around 15-20C (59-68F) until after germination, which takes 7-14 days. When seedlings gain 2 true leaves, transplant into individual 7.5cm (3") pots of compost and grow on at a minimum temperature of 15C (59F).

When tomato plants are well grown, transplant into baskets and containers. When all risk of frost has passed gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 - 10 days before positioning baskets outdoors in a sheltered position in full sun.

Water tomato plants frequently, to keep the compost evenly moist. Feed tomatoes regularly with a high potash plant food once the first truss of fruit has formed. Dwarf bush varieties do not require staking or side shooting. Tomatoes can be harvested as they ripen from July to September.

  1. Heavy Cropper!

    By Avril Aitchison 07-10-2013

Grew one in greenhouse and one in hanging basket outdoors. The outdoor one in the hanging basket was such a stronger plant producing perhaps 100 toms all ripening within weeks of each other and looked so attractive. Nice size cherry toms, stems need supporting.

  2. What a Cracking Product

    By Kerry Dadson 29-09-2013

I received a packet of 6 seeds. All 6 germinated and produced an abundance of firm, sweet, juicy tomatoes, and we are still picking them. Torenzo is a heavy cropper, and we found that the trusses needed supporting to avoid breaking. But well worth the effort. Not bad for 99p. I will certainly be ordering again for next year. ( Unless T and M come up with a better offer)

  3. Does what it says on the packet

    By Matthew Burgin 23-07-2013

I have never grown Tomatos before but this variety is amazing. Only 50% of the seeds germinated but after that its a breeze just make sure you have them in a good sized pot as they get big !!! Everything that it says on the packet is true they are sweet juicy full of flavor and heavy croppers. I take between 80 and 100 Tomatos from 3plants a week. Worth 99p of any ones money
