Pot up plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until all risk of frost has passed. When plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before transplanting into borders and containers. The herbaceous perennials in this collection can be grown in any moist, fertile soil, in sun or semi shade. Work some compost or general fertiliser into the top 20cm of the soil prior to planting.
In autumn, cut back the old foliage to ground level and apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plants. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of perennials in autumn to maintain their vigour.
Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Still not red hot

As other reviewers, I ordered around the red hot pokers so disappointed they are still out of stock and one of the replacements I had ordered separately, so didn't want more. Also disappointed with quality of plants, but hope they will pick up when planted out.
However, customer service team very helpful and have arranged refund.
Not so red hot

As the first review I also ordered around the red hot pokers. Ordered the collection on the 2nd May, arrived yesterday minus red pokers, and evening primrose. Plants are smaller than I expected, will need some tlc before planting out. Not in my view 'super jumbo' herbaceous perennial plants ready to plant out.
Not as good as it looks

I really only ordered this as it was a good collection around the red hot pokers. Sadly these were one of the two they have run out of (despite still taking orders for more!).
They were not in a good state when the arrived, but I am hoping that they will pick up.

Have to agree with the first review. My collection was posted on 27th April, I received it on 3rd May. The plants were in very poor condition.
PERENNIAL COLLECTION A
By GILLIAN BANKS 03-05-2011
The collection arrived late. It was posted just before the Bank Holliday weekend and hence the plants spent a minimum of six days in transit and arrived in very poor condition. The description of the plants on the website is that they can be planted out directly. The cultivation advice on arrival is that they are grown on in 3.5 inch pots. Two out of the five plant selection were not available and were substituted (inappropriately). A five pound voucher was enclosed to compensate but it can only be used if I pay the postage and packing. Very dissappointing.
