Blue Danube (previously known as Adam Blue). The latest introduction from Sárvári, without the Sárpo prefix as the foliage has only moderate blight resistance but the tubers have excellent resistance. Stunning blue/purple skinned oval tubers with bright white flesh of good flavour for general culinary purpose, larger tubers bake well. Stunning plant when in flower.
