Potato : Blue Belle

One to give Kestrel some competition. Stunning, shallow blue/purple eyes on white skin. Creamy, delicious flesh, versatile for all cooking purposes. Shows off its distinctive eye colour as an early 'baby' new potato, cropping heavily in containers/exhibitor bags.

Uses: General purpose

Potato : Bonnie

Bold, round/oval uniformly shaped yellow skinned tubers with pink splashed eyes and cream flesh.

A bright skin finish hence the apt name. Recent tasting assessments have given Bonnie good reviews, particularly boiled and as a baker.

Good disease tolerances and resistant to golden eelworm.

Potato : British Queen

Over 100 years old and highly prized for its yield, shape, floury texture and delicious flavour.

Ireland's summer favourite.
White flowers.

Potato : Cara

Round/oval pinkish-red eyed tubers with soft moist flesh. Particularly good baker. Withstands drought. Very disease resistant, including golden eelworm and blight. The allotment favourite.

Organic Cara has Organic Certification approved by The Soil Association.

Uses: Baker/general purpose.

Potato : Charlotte

A very popular salad variety producing pear shaped yellow skinned waxy tubers and creamy yellow flesh of first class flavour, either hot or cold. Pale purple flowers.

Organic Cara has Organic Certification approved by The Soil Association.

Potato : Desiree

The world's most popular red potato. Pale yellow firm waxy flesh. Versatile for all cooking.

Good drought resistance.

Organic Desiree has Organic Certification approved by The Soil Association.

Potato : Druid

Introduced Exclusively by T&M

Very similar to Red Cara but a slightly later maturity. Short oval pink/red skinned with no white splashes, shallow eyes. Huge yields. Firm flesh does not disintegrate on cooking. Resistance to foliage blight, common scab and golden eelworm so ideal for the organic gardener.

Potato : Duke of York

Esteemed for its pale yellow tubers and dry mealy texture with pronounced flavour. A classic first early which if left develops into a quality general purpose potato.

Potato : Dunbar Standard

Bred by C. T. Spence in 1936. A vigorous variety with plenty of weed suppressing foliage and a spectacular mass of white flowers. Does well in heavy soils. Tubers have a lovely earthy flavour, particularly good baker.

Potato : Estima

Visually appealing early maturing baker with firm, moist, pale yellow fleshed oval tubers. Produces high yields of tubers for both early and later lifting. Excellent drought tolerance.

Potato : Harlequin

Charlotte × Pink Fir Apple cross so has to be delectable eating quality. You will not be disappointed. Long finger-shaped, part reddish skin with pale yellow flesh. Unanimously won our 'blind' taste tests, both hold and cold, at our 2004 Press Day. Good common scab resistance.

Potato : Harmony Exhibitors Grade

White skinned smooth oval tubers and waxy cream flesh. A good cropper. Double eelworm resistant and tolerant of common scab.

Uses: Boil/general purpose.

Exhibitor varieties are subject to availability. We will use, wherever possible, a minimum size of 45mm as exhibitor grade.
