Pre-1950's variety.

An old French variety esteemed for its flavour which further improves on storage. Beautiful pale yellow tubers.

Potato : Harlequin

Charlotte × Pink Fir Apple cross so has to be delectable eating quality. You will not be disappointed. Long finger-shaped, part reddish skin with pale yellow flesh. Unanimously won our 'blind' taste tests, both hold and cold, at our 2004 Press Day. Good common scab resistance.

Potato : Harmony Exhibitors Grade

White skinned smooth oval tubers and waxy cream flesh. A good cropper. Double eelworm resistant and tolerant of common scab.

Uses: Boil/general purpose.

Potato : Highland Burgundy Red

Burgundy red flesh, colour retained if steamed. Fluffy texture, delicious mild taste.

This unique conservation variety has previously only been available as microplants, now, as tubers, you can easily grow a taste of the past.

Early Maincrop but can be lifted as a Second Early. A heavy crop of long oval yellow skinned and fleshed waxy tubers, mouth watering flavour either hot or cold.

Good resistance to Common and Netted Scab and Golden eelworm.

A firm favourite for roasting. The creamy white flesh rarely discolours on cooking. The classic Christmas roasted potato.

Once the most popular variety of the 20th century. Reliable cropper in all soil types, producing long oval, white skinned and fleshed tubers which store well.

Potato : Maris Piper

Versatile all rounder. Dry, floury, creamy-white flesh of good flavour rarely discolours on cooking. The best chipping variety around. Golden eelworm resistant. Purple flowers.

Large, smooth pale red skinned tubers with white waxy flesh which remains firm on cooking. Golden eelworm and partial white eelworm resistant.

Potato : Mayan Gold

Exclusive

Bred jointly by Greenvale AP and SCRI. Has its roots in the Andean foothills of Peru and is a different type of potato of the phureja type. Mayan Gold is the first successful introduction of this type and has proven exceptionally popular with chefs and the restaurant trade. Yellow skinned, long, oval, tubers with a deeper golden flesh of a unique nutty flavour and an extremely creamy but dry texture. Fantastic for chips and roasting for the crispy texture and fluffy centres. Superb flavour when cooked in its skin for all cooking uses except boiling (as tubers will quickly go mushy), also makes a stunning pie topping.

Potato : Mayan Queen

Sister variety to Mayan Gold with the same rich-yellow, smooth-textured flesh of premium taste, perfect for wedges, roasties and jackets. The long, oval pale-yellow skinned tubers have deep, pale red eyes.

Unique red and white-skinned tubers with deep yellow, dense flesh. The flavour is both sweet and moreish as a salad eaten either hot or cold with skins on.

Good all round disease and drought resistance, although prone to slugs.

Pretty shallow red-eyed salad, white fleshed, quite waxy oval tubers, some blight and blackleg tolerance. Golden eelworm resistant.

A very, tasty red from Ireland which is now hugely popular. Excellent all rounder producing oval tubers with pale yellow, dry, floury flesh..

High yielding, deep red skin with white flesh, round/oval tubers. Excellent flavour in taste tests. Golden eelworm resistant.

Probably the most pest and disease resistant potato and grows well in all soils. Double eelworm resistant. Lots of uniform tubers with quite dry pale yellow flesh.

Bred by Greenvale AP. Attractive white skinned, shallow red eyed, good sized tubers with creamy flesh, ideal for both the table and for the Exhibitor.
