Every year, we carry out extensive plant trials to discover potential new introductions to the T&M range and ensure the varieties we already stock are still meeting our performance standards. Open weekend gives visitors a unique opportunity to see our trial grounds up close and to get a sneak preview of newly developed experimental varieties some of which have won awards for their innovative qualities. We featured the ever popular plant sale and topical quiz - not to mention the question and answer time with our experts. The refreshment marquee with its delicious array of cakes and sandwiches provided somewhere for visitors to tear themselves away from the beautiful flower borders and containers. There was also a free packet of seeds for every visitor and the chance to pick up a few bargains, plants and gardening equipment!
