Customer Service Agents (Temporary)

  • Ipswich, Suffolk
  • £14,500 - £15,000 per annum (pro-rata)
  • Temporary, full-time or part-time

With immediate start we are looking for seasonal workers for our Customer Service department handling inbound calls and emails (taking orders and assisting customers with their queries). We have various hours available, including weekday, weekend and evening hours (and combinations thereof) part-time and full-time.

Contracts are expected to last until the end of June 2017.


The ideal candidate is:
  • Customer focused
  • A good ambassador for any business you work for
  • Comfortable using pc's and web-based systems
  • Happiest working in a large team
  • Enthusiastic and positive


If you have an interest in gardening that is an added bonus (but not essential).

Experience is always desirable but full training is given, therefore candidates of all levels and experience are welcome.

Sales & Marketing Administrator

We are looking for a high-calibre individual to join our busy Mail Order division as Sales & Marketing Administrator on a permanent basis.

The role is set in our Consumer Sales office, and is responsible for supporting the sales team with administrative duties including the preparation of sales reports and collating product information ready for marketing.


Thompson & Morgan is an exciting multi channel retailer and this is an ideal opportunity to join the team at a time of rapid change and growth.

Reporting to the Mail Order Sales Manager your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Collating product specification details for marketing activity
  • Researching and producing copy for marketing activity
  • Organising and populating marketing spreadsheets with product information
  • Supporting with forecasting to ensure accuracy
  • Maintaining and updating product inventory
  • Monitor online product listings for 'out of stock' status
  • Monitor and report on competitor pricing
