If you are lucky enough to have a large garden and you are looking for a large attractive tree, look no further than a nut tree. They are easy to grow, will quickly establish and you will soon be harvesting your own delicious nuts.
Robijn is a sweet Almond produced on a very ornamental tree bearing showy, light pink blossom in spring which may need protecting from frost.
Grafted on a 'St Julian' rootstock which is semi-dwarfing, and will produce you a medium sized 2-2.5m (7-8 foot) tree. As Almond Robijn is grafted onto peach rootstock it is advised not to plant near peaches as hybridisation may occur resulting in bitter nuts. Very resistant to peach leaf curl. Self fertile.
