Raspberry 'Glen Dee'

Rubus idaeus

The latest variety to come from the highly regarded floricane programme from world renowned Norfolk raspberry breeder WR Walpole. This tasty raspberry has everything going for it - Bigger fruits than popular Glen Ample and heavier yields to boot. There is no tartness to the thick fleshy fruits, making them great all-rounders, each berry weighs on average over 6.5g . Use Raspberry Glen Dee in baked desserts to cut down on sugar use, keep desserts simple with a scoop of ice cream or splash of cream, or simply eat the juicy sweet fruits straight from the plants. Spineless, upright canes and a habit of holding fruits well above the foliage make for easy picking and a tidy raspberry patch. Grow along older varieties and you’ll see the difference straight away. Height: 1.5m (59"). Spread: 50cm (20"). More info
