Blackberry Black Cascade
Rubus fruticosusThere's no need to search the hedgerows for a bumper crop of blackberries! Now you can pick up to 1.3 kg of large, sweet berries from a single hanging basket with Blackberry Black Cascade. This breakthrough in blackberry breeding enables gardeners to grow blackberries in a totally new setting - no need to walk a country mile to get your harvest, just pop out to the patio and harvest your baskets at leisure. Traditional blackberries are sprawling plants that don't suit a garden setting. For those without the luxury of an allotment or large vegetable patch Blackberry Black Cascade produces compact, arching plants with thornless trailing stems. Each and every stem on the plant produces berries and will crop more than once a season. The sweet fruits don't have any of the bitterness associated with traditional blackberries - eat them straight from the plant, but try and leave some for kitchen use! Height: 30cm (12").
