Transplant the seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots when large enough to handle, and grow on cool and well lit approximately 15-18C (60-65F). In Summer or Autumn plant out where they are to flower 45cm (18in) apart in full sun and ordinary well drained garden soil. Keep well watered until they are established.

Cut the stems down to ground level in winter and mulch with compost.

  1. A Real Novel And Stunning Plant!

    By Zulfiqar Ilahi 22-05-2014

This image does not do justice to this wonderful species of salvia! I was given a packet of seeds two seasons ago, and this has to be the most impressive and beautiful salvia species ever. And it's very rare to find the seeds of this salvia species in the UK. Well done to T&M for offering a unique and rare salvia.
