Nasturtiums are very versatile - they'll creep through your beds and borders to fill any unsightly gaps, climb a trellis to brighten up walls and fences, trail elegantly from a hanging basket and you can even put them in your salad! Try these easy-to-grow seeds - you won't be disappointed!
Nasturtium 'Double Gleam Mixed'
Tropaeolum majus, Indian Cress
Being a semi-trailing plant you can always find room for it. One of the most striking varieties in a mixture of golden yellow, orange and scarlet. Flowers summer to frost.
Culinary note: The peppery flavour of the leaves and colourful flowers will enrich salads and the unripened seeds can used like capers – delicious combined with cream cheese or butter in canapés. For more details about edible flowers click here.More info
