Hardy Annual Seeds


Hardy annuals can be sown directly into their flowering positions in the spring and will tolerate a certain amount of cold. Sweet Pea 'Chatsworth'

Lathyrus odoratus

An aristocrat of the show bench, and a superb cut flower! Sweet Pea 'Chatsworth' produces 5 to 6 pale lavender blooms, of outstanding quality, on each tall, straight stem. Delicate frills and a wonderful fragrance make this sweet pea a beautiful choice for exhibition, or to simply enjoy in your garden. Height: 180cm (71") Spread: 30cm (12").

Sweet Pea 'Winston Churchill'

Lathyrus odoratus

A very handsome red sweet pea that produces a profusion of magnificent, strongly scented, wavy blooms. The large flowers of Sweet Pea 'Winston Churchill' are carried on strong stems of a good length, that are ideal for cutting. This colourful variety is superb for climbing through arches, trellis, and obelisks. Height: 180cm (71"). Spread: 30cm (12").

Sweet Pea 'Early Mammoth Mixed'

Lathyrus odoratus

Extra long stems bear 5 to 6 large blooms each and have a superb colour range. Though not well suited to training as a cordon, Sweet Pea 'Early Mammoth Mixed' is an excellent variety for growing in the greenhouse, producing masses of early blooms for cut flower arrangements. Height: 150cm (59"). Spread: 30cm (12").
