Calendula officinalis 'Chrysantha'English Marigold, Marigold, Pot Marigold During our travels to seed trial grounds around the world, we have rediscovered this heirloom variety, first offered by Thompson & Morgan in 1933. Calendula ‘Chrysantha’ was a real breeding breakthrough in its time. The bushy, free flowering plants produce masses of double citron-yellow flowers with long, drooping petals that resemble chrysanthemum blooms. Like other pot marigolds, it makes a delightful cut flower, and adds a ray of sunshine to beds, borders and containers. Height: 70cm (28”). Spread: 45cm (18”).
