Sow February-April. Sow seed on the surface of good, free-draining, seed or multipurpose compost. Do not cover the seed. Place container in a propagator or seal inside a plastic bag and place at a temperature of 20-25C (68-77F) until after germination which takes 7-21 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart.

Caution: harmful if eaten

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes etc are delivered at the appropriate time for planting and will be stated on the product page or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a P&P charge of £1.95.
Orders which include any other products will incur a P&P charge of £4.95.
Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products a maximum P&P charge of £6.90 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.

    Tall, elegant flower blooms with the most exquisite perfume. Looked great in my borders and even better on my patio next to my reading chair where this charming fragrance, a good book and maybe a glass of wine helped relax the evening away.
