Petunia 'Summer Sensation Mixture' F2 Hybrid

Pot up petunia plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Alternatively, plant plugs directly into flower pouches.Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into baskets, window boxes and containers in well drained soil, in full sun.

Feed and water petunia plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Regular deadheading of petunia flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes etc are delivered at the appropriate time for planting and will be stated on the product page or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a P&P charge of £1.95.

   Really satisfying!

   I am a newish gardener and have has fantastic results with these plug plants. After a little while establishing, they suddenly went mad with big blooms- and have continued for over 2 months so far- looking fabululous with the union jack flags for the Olympics. Please continue and increase colours!

   From a little plug to a giant grow!

   This was the first year i had bought plug plants for my summer hanging baskets and pots and have to say these have been value for money. We are now in October and my petunias are still flourishing fantastically in all my hanging baskets and pots. My hanging basket by my front door is almost down to the floor and has been a profusion of beautiful colours throughout the summer. Whilst i open my front door the perfume the petunias give wafts over which i love. I will certainly be ordering more of these next year as they have far exceeded my expectations and have to say my hanging basket is the best and biggest in my road!!
