Also known as herbaceous plants, perennial plants live for 2 or more years and flower every year. Biennial plants live for up to 2 years, flowering profusely in their second year before setting seed and dying.   • These hardy gerberas have much larger blooms than standard hardy gerberas.
Enjoy 3 seasons of stunning colour with this new winter hardy gerbera! These spectacular border perennials begin flowering towards the end of spring, coming into their own during the summer. You'd imagine the plants to be exhausted by then, but no! They then go on flowering into the autumn! So many flowers - you can steal a few for the table - people just won't believe you've grown them yourself. Gerbera 'Sweet Dreams is the 'crème de la crème' of gerberas; an all-new strain with stronger stems and larger flowers than most other varieties. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 40cm (16").

Please note, that within our 2013 spring despatch, some plants supplied may have a white centre rather than dark, however the plant will offer the flower power and garden performance.
