Grow rudbeckia plants in sun or semi shade. Rudbeckia enjoys a fertile, preferably heavy soil that is rich in organic matter and well drained. Coneflowers resent drought and dislike soils that dry out in summer.
In autumn, remove the old foliage and faded rudbeckia flower stems. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost around the base of the plant in spring to conserve moisture at the roots.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes etc are delivered at the appropriate time for planting and will be stated on the product page or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a P&P charge of £1.95.

  1. Gorgeous!

Rudbeckia Goldstrum! Each flower is a bursts of sunshine on typically British rainy days!! Flowering now (Late Aug to Sept) It has a dark green foliage, plenty of buds and zesty yellow flowers that certainly brighten your day! Looks beautiful against a dark brown fence or at the back of a border. Goes beautifully with 'Rustic dwarf rudbeckia' and 'Cherry Brandy Rudbeckia'. Just ordered more!!
