Pot up monkey flower plug plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When mimulus plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant outdoors in fertile, well drained soil that remains reliably moist throughout summer. Choose a position in dappled shade, or a sunny spot with some protection from direct sun during the hottest part of the day.
Water mimulus plants regularly to ensure that the soil does not dry out. Deadhead faded mimulus flowers throughout the summer to encourage more blooms to be produced.

A gorgeous range of colours, yellow, white, pink, spotted! Compact bushy plants, great in pots, pouches & hanging baskets, a good alternative to busy lizzies. You do have to keep on top of dead heading them, I found once the initial blast of blooms was over they got a bit leggy, I gave them a bit of a trim and after a few weeks they burst into bloom again!
