Pot up Diascia plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When Twinspur plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant Diascia outdoors on well drained, reliably moist soil in full sun.
Water diascia plants regularly to ensure that the soil does not dry out. Deadhead faded diascia flowers throughout the summer to encourage more blooms to be produced.

  1. Eternal beauty

    By Marjorie Kellington 06-09-2014

When I saw these plants I couldn't resist sending for them, thought they looked lovely. Bought last year, when they performed well. However, this year they have been outstanding and have flowered for months on end. The plants are really eye catching with bright flowers. Although they tend to sprawl a little this adds to their beauty as some stems grow upright and the outside stems grow outwards making a large plant. Would highly recommend, look lovely at the front of the border and would look nice growing over a rockery wall.

  2. Extra Plant!

    By Carol Clegg 09-06-2014

I was slightly disappointed to find that a branch of one of my plants had fallen off while I was putting them in pots. Not wanting to waste it I dipped it into some rooting popowder and put it in compost in a small pot. A couple of weeks later it has developed a strong rooting system and I have a free plant. As I am not sure which is the parent plant, I am now looking forward to seeing what colour the flowers will be!
