Coreopsis ‘Presto’ is so long-flowering and colourful that you can mix it up with summer bedding annuals to achieve a truly amazing, long lasting display. Neat, compact plants are smothered in golden-yellow, semi-double flowers all summer long. This versatile tickseed plant will grow almost anywhere, even in dry soil! Height and spread: 45cm (18”).

Pot up coreopsis plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until all risk of frost has passed. When plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before transplanting into borders and containers. Grow coreopsis in fertile, well drained soil in sunny or semi shaded position.
Water coreopsis regularly until they are fully established. Deadhead faded coreopsis flowers regularly to encourage more blooms to be produced throughout the summer. In autumn, cut back old stems and apply a dry mulch to protect the plant from winter cold.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes etc are delivered at the appropriate time for planting and will be stated on the product page or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a P&P charge of £1.95.
Orders which include any other products will incur a P&P charge of £4.95.
Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products a maximum P&P charge of £6.90 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.

    I still can't believe that I had success with all 72 plug plants. They started to flower about 3 weeks ago and are still looking beautiful. I used them for under planting in a couple of my borders and they manage to brighten up these areas irrespective of the weather. So easy to dead head for more flowers. Just hope the frosts stay away for a while yet!

    Despite the poor summer, these plants have given a great display both in the garden and in containers. Looking forward to seeing if they self seed over the next year. Plenty of flowers on taller than expected stalks which suggest they should be given a little more protection from the winds.
