Geranium 'Rozanne'

Geranium 'Gerwat'

Hardy Perennial

  • Winner of The RHS Chelsea Flower Show 'Plant of the Centenary'
  • Unique long-flowering period for a Hardy Geranium

A celebrated Cranesbill producing masses of saucer shaped, violet-blue blooms with dainty white centres. Being a sterile hybrid, Geranium 'Rozanne' flowers repeatedly throughout the summer and won’t self-seed like other Geraniums. This hardy perennial makes excellent ground cover through the front of informal borders or spilling from containers. As summer ends the loose mounds of foliage colour to reddish brown and fiery orange for an extended display into autumn. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Pot up hardy geranium plugs and grow them on in frost free conditions. When plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Plant hardy geraniums in any well drained soil, in sun or shade.
Water hardy geranium plants regularly throughout summer until fully established. Remove old foliage and faded flower stems throughout the growing season to promote continuous production of fresh growth. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of hardy geraniums in spring to maintain their vigour.

I bought three of this plant in 2013.In the year they were ok. This year they have produced so many flowers I get complimented on their display. They came in perfect condition & easy to follow instructions.I have purchased other plants from T & M thru' there online site & other outlets they sell from. I've yet to be disappointed.

  2. Very disappointed - plant and service

    By Jim Fallon 16-04-2014

I agree with the other reviewer. This plant does look incredibly weedy. I hope it survives. I contacted T&M 5 days ago using the email link ccare@thompson-morgan.com but have yet to receive a reply apart from an automated response. Not impressed at all.
