Pot up pelargonium plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise geraniums to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into their final positions in containers, beds and borders. Plant geraniums in a sunny or semi-shaded position, in any light, non-acidic, well drained soil. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.
Feed and water geranium plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Regular deadheading of geranium flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.

  1. Novice gardeners love MINI-PLUGS

    By vera roper 08-05-2013

They had arrived and I was hooked; a healthy root system, green leaves flourishing and already hinting the promise of the flowers they would become. I would finally become a gardener, an eighty two year old novice gardener and my excitement knew no bounds. I set up my potting station and, to use gardening jargon,' I potted them on' and they immediately multiplied into hundreds of individual plants. These precious little seedlings have brought out the nurturer in me and in return are giving me both pleasure and exercise. They have responded to my care by thriving beyond my wildest dreams. In a very short time, they will be strong enough to be planted outside to brave the elements. I have enrolled my great grandsons in my new venture as, much like me, they need quick results to maintain their enthusiasm so, for children as well as virgin gardeners, I can highly recommend mini-plugs as the way to go.

  2. Strong and sturdy plugs

    By Anita Wallas 05-05-2013

Arrived sooner than expected, well packed. The plants are small but perfectly formed! Strong and all looking vigorous. Potted them on a couple of days later and three weeks on, they are all growing well, outside, despite variable weather conditions. I'm delighted and on the basis of these as my first T & M order, I'm looking forward to other items arriving soon! Brilliant, thanks. Highly recommended
