Annual plants fall under two categories - hardy and half-hardy. Hardy annuals can be grown outdoors and will tolerate cooler tempratures, whereas the more tender half-hardy annuals need protection and must not be planted out until all risk of frost has passed. These delightful summer flowers add colour and interest to beds, borders, containers and hanging baskets.

Marigold 'Zenith Mixed' F1 Hybrid (Garden Ready)
Tagetes patula x erecta, Afro-French Marigold
Our garden ready plants are selected for garden performance, straight from the nursery. We send them to you 'green' ahead of flowering (but please note some varieties may show a few blooms), which means plants will establish quickly and all their energy goes into producing better roots, so they produce more flowers throughout the season.
If you're only going to grow one marigold this summer, choose Marigold 'Zenith Mixed'! An Afro-French hybrid, Marigold 'Zenith Mixed' produces crested, carnation-like flowers in a mixture of colours including reds, oranges, yellows and bicolour shades. With a vigorous growth habit and superb weather resistance you'll be enjoying non-stop colour in your beds, borders and containers from summer through to autumn. Height and spread: 35cm (14").
Culinary note: The citrus tasting flowers have many uses, try them in salads, sandwiches or seafood dishes too. For more details about edible flowers click here.More info
