Salvia Collection

Hardy Perennial

  • Award winning selection
  • 7 months of colour
  • Drought tolerant and fuss-free

We've paired together our two favourite salvia introductions of recent years. Enjoy the reddish-purple flowers of Salvia 'Love and Wishes' alongside the scarlet-red funnels of 'Ember's Wish' - a match made in heaven for border and container displays. 'Love and Wishes' won best new variety at the Grower of the Year awards 2016, and was 3rd place in the 2015 RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year. We think 'Ember's Wish' matches it in looks and performance. Developed in Australia, both are drought-tolerant and fuss-free, and truly hardy for years of enjoyment in UK gardens. Flowering from May to November we can't think of a harder working perennial for your garden. Height and Spread: 75cm (30").

Salvia plants prefer a moist, but well-drained soil in full sun, although once established they can also be very drought resistant. Salvia 'Amistad' will appreciate a sheltered position with protection from strong winds and particularly hard frosts.
Water regularly until salvia plants are fully established. Deadhead faded flowers throughout the summer to encourage more blooms to be produced.
