Lobelia plug plants can be planted directly into flower pouches. For baskets, beds and window boxes, pot up plugs and grow them on in warm, frost free conditions for transplanting at a later date. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise lobelia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into their final containers in any, well drained soil, in a sunny or semi-shaded position.
Feed and water lobelia plants frequently throughout the summer to promote an endless supply of delicate lobelia flowers. Caution: Contact with the white sap may irritate the skin and eyes.

Stunning and long flowering

These lobelias were my best buy last year. The plants flowered profusely over the summer and it's still going, even though it's winter.
