Calibrachoa 'Kabloom Terracotta'

Mini Petunia

Half-hardy Annual

Smaller flowering Calibrachoa plants are fast catching up with blousy petunias in the popularity stakes thanks to their heavy flowering, ease of care and garden performance. In order to bring you the best prices on these trendsetting plants we've secured the first ever variety that can be grown commercially from seed. This means we can now offer these mini petunia plants in our economical plug strips and pass the savings on to you. These weatherproof petunias will stand proud in the garden all summer long even in the heaviest summer shower.

Following the success of our mixed colour option last season, we have pulled out the unique Calibrachoa 'Kabloom Terracotta' as a stand-alone variety following feedback from customers. Not only do the vibrant flowers make the perfect frothy filler for any mixed pot, the blooms and stems aren't sticky like standard petunias, making for easy deadheading and maintenance. Height 25cm (10"). Spread: 30cm (12").

Pot up calibrachoa plants on delivery and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant that will produce more flowers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise mini petunias to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into baskets, window boxes and containers in well-drained soil, in full sun. Alternatively, if space allows, plant plugs directly into flower pouches, baskets or containers to be moved outside after the last frost.
Feed and water calibrachoa plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Take care not to over-water during cooler periods as this may cause the stems to rot. Regular deadheading of faded calibrachoa flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above.
