Tulip bulbs are very easy to grow and look fabulous planted in large groups in borders or in containers on the patio. They boast superb weather resistance and will come back year after year. Tulipa, Tulipa humilis var. pulchella (Albocaerulea Oculata Group)A stunning species tulip bearing pure white, star-shaped blooms with deep blue-purple 'eyes' in the centre. Flowering from early to mid-spring, Tulip 'Albocaerulea' is ideal for creating carpets of colour beneath deciduous trees and shrubs, or planted in drifts in borders or rock gardens. Due to their small stature they also make a fantastic addition to spring patio containers. Unlike hybrid tulips, species tulips return reliably every year for hassle-free, low maintenance gardening! Tulip flowers are also excellent for cutting for a vase indoors. Bulb size 6/7. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 15cm (6").
