A deep green eye complements the pristine white petals of this elegant variety. Narcissus 'Green Eyed Lady' boasts a creamy yellow cup which gradually fades to purest white. Stylish in its simplicity, this beautiful fragrant narcissus makes a fabulous companion for other spring bulbs, but is equally eye-catching when planted alone in large drifts. Height: 50cm (20"). Daffodil and narcissus bulbs are easy to establish in any moist, well drained soil. Plant the bulbs in full sun or semi-shade at a depth of approximately 10cm (4") and at a distance of 10cm (4") apart. Narcissus and Daffodils look particularly eye-catching when grown as drifts in borders or informal areas of grass. For a really natural effect, cast the bulbs across the area and plant them where they land.

For an attractive indoor display, plant daffodils and narcissus in containers of bulb fibre and position them cool garage or other well ventilated, dark position at a maximum temperature of 10°C (50°F). Water sparingly when necessary to keep the compost moist. When the growing shoots reach a height of 10cm (4") move the containers to a cool bright position indoors (approximately 16°C or 60°F).

After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally before removing it in June or July. This will help to feed the bulb for the following year. When growing daffodils and narcissus that are naturalised in grass, avoid mowing the area until their foliage has died back. Caution: Contact with daffodil bulbs may irritate the skin and eyes. Harmful if eaten.

  1. Wrong Colour

    By Matthew Turner 19-03-2017

Disappointingly, my daffodils have now flowered and are all yellow! Having planted them with Black Tulips for contrast, i specifically chose this colour and paid the extra money for the uniqueness of the bulb. Customer care have happily refunded me the money, which is good, but it doesn't really solve the problem that i have 40 yellow daffodils when I wanted white ones. Maybe I was just unlucky?
