Prior to planting, anemone bulbs should be soaked in water overnight. Choose a position in full sun on light sandy, well drained soil, and plant them in groups at a depth of 5cm (2”) deep.
Anemone bulbs require a dry, dormant period in summer when the foliage begins to die back after flowering in early summer. Do not water them during this period. In autumn, apply a dry mulch of leaf mould or chipped bark to protect the bulbs from winter wet. Caution: The sap of Anemone coronaria is an irritant to the skin and eyes and harmful if eaten.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes etc are delivered at the appropriate time for planting and will be stated on the product page or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a P&P charge of £1.95.
