Ranunculus 'Picotee Mix'

Plant ranunculus in free draining soil in a sheltered, sunny position. Alternatively grow ranunculus tubers in containers of loam based compost mixed with plenty of horticultural grit to improve drainage. Plant the claw-like tubers at a depth of 8cm (3") with their claws pointing downwards.

Feed and water ranunculus plants regularly while they are in active growth. After flowering, allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in late summer. Reduce watering and allow the soil to dry out in order to provide the tubers with a dry, dormant period. Move containers of half hardy ranunculus to a frost-free position during winter to protect the tubers from cold, wet weather. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.

   Popping up all over!

   I ordered 3 lots of Ranuculas bulbs back in October, i posted some to my firends,popped them in some pots at my mothers house, my brothers,and sisters, and also in my pots, but by now had completely forgotten where I'd put them!. Its a fantastic surprise to see these popping up what beautiful colours.

   Ranunulus

   I love ranunculus but have never had much success growing them. I was amazed by the size of the ones I ordered from Thomson & Morgan as the quality was far superior to previous wizend corms I had seen. These were really large and plump and I just know that they will give a good show of blooms next year. Thank you
