Trees - ever fancied growing one in your garden, but worried about it getting too big? They're not all giants and our range features deciduous and evergreen trees for all sizes of garden. Some can even be grown in large containers on the patio.
Mimosa, Silver Wattle
Pompom yellow mimosa flowers are produced on this evergreen tree against a backdrop of feathery foliage. In spring the scented, nectar-rich blooms provide a valuable source of food for bees and other insects. In mild parts of the UK, Acacia dealbata plants can be grown outdoors, making a brilliant specimen for sheltered borders. Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Boulevard' (Large Plant)
Cupressus pisifera, Sawara CypressAwarded an RHS AGM for its appearance and performance, this Sawara Cypress makes a magnificent specimen tree. Soft, silvery-blue sprays of evergreen foliage cloak its branches which curl gently at the tips. During particularly cold periods this conifer takes on colourful bronze tones. Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Boulevard' will make a sizable tree at maturity, but its slow growth habit makes it suitable for even small gardens. Height: 800cm (314"). Spread: 400cm (157"). More info
