A deciduous Spirea of upright, mound forming habit, native to forests, cliffs and rocky areas in China and Korea. As the name suggests, pink flowers form in May and June on stunning dark green foliage. Spiraea fritschiana 'Pink Parasols' requires full sun and free draining soil. Flowers are borne on new wood, so prune in late winter to early spring if needed. Height: 91cm (36"). Spread: 122cm (48").

Grow Spiraea in a sunny position, in any fertile, moist, well-drained soil.
For best performance, prune flowered shoots of Spiraea plants immediately after flowering. Mature specimens can be cut back by a quarter of the old shoots to the base.
