Viburnum x bodnantense 'Charles Lamont' (Large Plant)
Viburnum are a popular shrub in the UK thanks to their tough, hardy, resilient behaviour in almost any garden situation. Viburnum x bodnantense ‘Charles Lamont’ gives excellent winter colour with pretty pink, heavily scented flowers, borne on the bare stems from November to March. Cut some of these stems to enjoy in a vase indoors.
The dark pink blooms of this Viburnum will fade slowly to white with maturity. This blooms are virtually sterile but you may spot a few small, round, purple berries in summer. By autumn, the foliage of the plant transforms to vibrant shades of orange and yellow. Erica carnea f. alba 'Golden Starlet' (Large Plant)
HeatherThis RHS AGM cultivar bears it’s pretty white, urn shaped flowers from February to April. As summer approaches, the vibrant lime green foliage turns to bright golden yellow, which literally glows from borders, beds and containers. Heather ‘Golden Starlet’ is an Erica carnea cultivar, tolerating any soil - even alkaline conditions. This evergreen shrub will even cope in lightly shaded areas making it particularly versatile.
