Chaenomeles x superba 'Salmon Horizon' (Large Plant)

Flowering quince, Japanese Quince, Japonica

Hardy Shrub

Orange-pink cup shaped flowers appear on the naked stems of this Flowering Quince from early March. The blooms are quickly followed by a cloak of glossy green foliage that covers the spiny branches. Autumn brings a final display of large golden fruits that are both aromatic and edible when made into jellies and preserves. Chaenomeles x superba 'Salmon Horizon' has a spreading habit that is ideal for large borders, training against a wall, or creating an intruder proof barrier. Height: 150cm (59"). Spread: 200cm (78").
