Petunia 'Purple Rocket'

An exclusive climbing Petunia from the Thompson & Morgan breeding programme. Climbing Petunia 'Purple Rocket' carries on the success of our popular 'Purple Tower'. We've taken that customer favourite, improved the vigour and packed it with more petals for intense perfume for even better flowering results on trellis, fencing and obelisks.

'Purple Rocket' produces rapid growth and early flowers, offering the ultimate column of colour when trained on a frame. Just three plants set into a Thompson & Morgan Tower Pot™ will create a winning summer patio or balcony display. Bred in the UK to cope with British weather, long stems quickly reach up to 1.5m (5ft) in height come rain or shine.

Alternatively let these easy-grow petunia plants spread through beds and borders as a carpet of colourful ground cover. Wherever you choose to plant it, Petunia 'Purple Rocket' will provide the perfect focal point for your garden this summer! Height and spread: 1.5m (5').

Tolerating temperatures down to -10°C (14F), this hardy fuchsia is tough enough to be permanently planted in a border getting bigger and better each year. Height: 1.5m (5'). Spread: 90cm (36").

Fuchsia Berry

  • Tasty berries and beautiful blooms
  • Brand new fruit high in Vitamin C
  • Up to 300 berries per plant each year
  • Unique flavour combining fig and kiwi
  • Keeps on flowering while fruiting

A brand new strain of edible fuchsia berry from Thompson & Morgan's own breeding programme. Not only does the Fuchsia Berry produce large sweet fruits packed with vitamin C and nutrients, it also produces beautiful blooms right through to autumn.

This fuchsia plant is the perfect addition to garden displays, but the heavy fruit yields make the Fuchsia Berry a worthwhile addition to allotments too, helping to create a pretty and productive plot! Though frost tender, the Fuchsia Berry can be kept through winter if protected in a sheltered spot or in a greenhouse.

The fruits have a flavour somewhere between a fig and a kiwi. Each plant will produce up to 300 delicious juicy berries, Fuchsiaberry is partially self-fertile and will crop without a pollination companion; but for the heaviest crops it is best grown with other fuchsias.

Unlike other Fuchsia varieties it will keep on flowering even when producing fruit - right up to the first frost. The Fuchsia Berry is set to change allotments and flower borders in the UK. Height 90cm (36"). Spread: 45cm (18").

Busy Lizzie 'Accent Mixed'

Impatiens walleriana

  • Back at last!
Vigorous, versatile and floriferous, Busy Lizzies are guaranteed to brighten up even the most shaded areas of your garden, giving a bold splash of colour all through the summer and well into autumn. It's little wonder they're the nation's favourite bedding plant. They keep blooming through sun or rain! Busy Lizzie 'Accent Mixed' is a compact variety with a magical array of colours in solid shades and bicolours. Back at long last - we removed traditional Busy Lizzies (Impatiens walleriana) from our range several years ago due to the spread of impatiens downy mildew in the UK. Positive reports from gardeners around the UK, along with problem-free results from our technical trials in Suffolk in the past two years, have given us the confidence to bring traditional Busy Lizzies back. Height and spread: 30cm (12").

Culinary note: Use as a colourful garnish in salads or float in cold drinks. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Petunia 'Peach Sundae'

  • T&M Exclusive
  • Ever-changing flower colours
  • Brighten up your hanging baskets all summer long

Ever-changing colour all summer long, no matter the weather! We've tested our petunia plants for weather tolerance and Petunia 'Peach Sundae' laughs in the face of wind, rain, hail and scorching sun. This unusual petunia echoes the colour, tone and flower-power of our best-selling Begonia 'Apricot Shades' with the added bonus of colour-changing flowers. Blooms change daily, moving through yellow, orange and peach leading to stunning summer container displays. Bringing calibrachoa into the breeding programme means more flowers per plant with little need to deadhead faded blooms. The hardy flowers bounce back even after the heaviest summer showers, making what we believe to be one of the best hanging basket petunias on the market. Height and spread: 45cm (18").
