Mixed Climbers Collection

Lonicera, Honeysuckle, Jasmine, Hedera, Ivy

The perfect climbing mix for year round foliage interest and floral scent and colour from spring to autumn. Transform stark walls and fencing with this six plant climber collection, guaranteed to bring colour at height. All varieties can be grow in containers against trellis or obelisks too, offering screening opportunities on patios and balconies. Height and spread up to 7m (18').

Collection comprises:
Honeysuckle 'Halliana' - a vigorous semi-evergreen variety producing scented cream flowers.
Honeysuckle Japonica repens - a vigorous evergreen form with purplish stems and leaves, producing clusters of strongly fragrant white flowers with a purple tinge on the outside.
Jasmine beesianum - a rare red flowered variety with a semi-evergreen habit.
Jasmine x stephanense 'Pink' - A highly ornamental deciduous form, producing pretty pink fragrant blooms in large clusters through June and July.
Hedera 'Ester' - a slow growing variety that won’t swamp your displays like other large ivy varieties. white and green variegated foliage will shine out from shady corners of the garden.
Hedera 'Golden Child' - Another slow, compact variety ideal for lifting shady areas of the garden. The gold and green foliage seemingly glows out of the gloom.

Sweet Pea 'Eleanore Udall'

  • Superb for arches, trellis, obelisks, etc

A pretty new form with graduated pink petals and a heavenly scent ideal for garden display and home-made cut flower bouquets. We’ve developed this strain to help raise funds for our nominated charity of the year in 2016, Thrive.

Dregea sinensis

Wattakaka sinensis, Chinese Dregea

Add a romantic touch to the garden with this seldom-seen climber from China. Dregea sinensis will make a welcome change to the usual climbers you see in our gardens. Exotic, heart-shaped foliage makes the perfect backdrop in early summer for clusters of sweet scented, creamy white blooms, speckled with red inside, later producing slender, paired seed pods. Hardy down to -7°C (19°F) , this glorious twining shrub will clothe a warm, sunny, sheltered wall or fence and the sweet, sugarsoaked perfume can fill the garden year on year.
