Morning Glory 'Flying Saucers'

Ipomoea tricolor, Ipomoea rubrocaerulea

A free-flowering vigorous climber for quickly covering trelliswork, obelisks and fences. In summer, an abundance of exquisite white blooms with blue-mauve streaks are produced, their antique appearance giving an air of yesteryear. Climbs to 180-240cm (6-8ft). More info

Morning Glory 'Hazelwood Blues'


The stunning colour mixture of Ipomoea Hazelwood Blues brings together some of the most attractive shades of blue available in Morning Glories. This is a truly vigorous annual climber, ideal for covering fences, trellis or an ornamental garden arch. Why go to the expense of buying mature clematis plants when this fast growing seed variety will flowering within 6 months from sowing? Clematis ‘Helios’ is somewhat more restrained compared to most of its relatives, and can be easily grown in our Tower Pot or imaginatively planted into hanging baskets! The nodding sherbert-yellow blooms open out flat before the petal tips sweep back for a very unusual display. The flowers don't just have a unique beauty, they also give off a coconut-like fragrance and are followed by decorative silky seedheads. Pruning Group 3: hard prune in spring (especially important when growing in baskets and containers). Height and Spread: 2.4m (8’).
