Sambucus nigra 'Madonna' is a deciduous shrub which is sure to start conversation in your home. Stunning creamy-yellow variegated foliage which slowly fades to white as the year progresses. Grow your Elder in full sun to brighten up the dullest of days. Height: 3m (10'). Spread: 2.5m (8').

Grow Sambucus in any moist but well drained soil in full sun or dappled shade, plants will also survive on poor, chalky soils.
More Info Sambucus plants require very little pruning except for general maintenance and shaping in winter. However, if they become too large after a few years, they will also respond well to hard, restrictive pruning.
