Pieris 'Passion' is a showpiece shrub for the garden. Pieris plants are admired for their whorled foliage which is vivid red each spring as it unfurls. Pieris 'Passion' carries pendulous, pink-red flowers which appear in spring.
Pieris are evergreen, easy to maintain and requiring minimal pruning. Grow in acid borders, or patio containers of ericaceous compost. Height and Spread: 2.5m (8').

Grow Pieris plants in a sunny or partially shaded position, in a moderately fertile, rich, well drained and acidic soil. Alternatively grow Pieris in large containers, using ericaceous (acidic) compost.
More Info Whilst your Pieris plants are young, they may require some winter protection. As they become established, you will find that Pieris plants will need very little pruning. After flowering, you can trim them to keep a good shape, and remove any dead or damaged growth. Caution: harmful if eaten.
