Given sufficient space, this lovely Bonin Island Juniper will spread prostrate across the ground providing excellent groundcover. Where growing conditions are more crowded it will take a more mounded form - either way, it is equally attractive! The silver-blue, needle-like foliage is evergreen, taking on bronze and purple tones during the coldest months. Juniperus procumbens 'Nana' is a dependable shrub which has been awarded an RHS AGM. It will happily thrive across a wide range of conditions and needing very little maintenance. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 1.5m (5').

Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
