A non-climbing variety of Ivy, Hedera helix 'Arborescens' forms dense clumps of glossy evergreen leaves on low growing branches. Producing abundant cluster of green/white flowers in late summer which are highly attractive to pollinating insects, this Tree Ivy makes in interesting structural plant. The flowers will also turn into black berries in autumn adding further colour and dimension. Ideal for growing in shadier parts of the garden, this hardy shrub can also be used as a groundcover plant. Height: 100cm (39"). Spread: 100cm (39").

Grow Ivy in any moist, well drained garden soil in a sheltered position, in full sun or partial shade. Ivy will perform especially well on alkaline soils, although plants are also tolerant of a wide range of different soil conditions.
More Info Prune your Ivy plants to fit the space available. Plants can be trimmed at any time, although spring is the best time for renovation pruning, before the new growth starts.
